Looking eastward in Mission Trails Regional Park in San Diego, CA.
From a distance the Hoodoos take on a human like form . Like ancient warriors carved from stone. Bryce Canyon is truly a remarkable place.
The mountains become an entirely different place when the autumn and winter months move into Southern California. Fog and mist roll accross the rugged terrain, creating various levels of line of sight. Nature's filters at their best. In some sense it is eerie, in another very calming and peaceful. I always look forward to this time of the year. Getting up into the mountains to see what surprises nature will present to me.
